The war is over and Don Pedro’s army makes its triumphant way home. Descending upon Leonata's peaceful estate, the men bring both gaiety and disruption into civilian lives of the women there. As the army lingers to celebrate the wedding of one of their own to Leonata’s daughter, plots are hatched for good and ill. Against this backdrop of romance and deception, Benedick and Beatrice war in one of literature’s most famous battles of the sexes. Will Pride win the day, or will Love conquer all?
